My Students

My students are a engaging group of inquisitive third graders! I work at a Title I school in the Los Angeles Unified School district where I am fortunate enough to be able to spend my day with a group of curious learners who are excited to learn about the world around them.

These students bring their excitement for learning with them everyday.

My students love to participate in STEAM activities and my goal is to provide the students with new and hands-on activities that they may not have a chance to do at home.

My Project

My students love STEAM based lessons and projects. My goal is to expose my third grade students to robotics at an early age to get them excited about coding and engineering. Teaching coding at an early age is a great way to help students develop problems solving skills and equips them with skills that are important in the future.

This project allows my students to combine their love of technology and science together.

The students will have the opportunity to use the coding skills they've started developing through a hands on experience with the Dash robot. Through this project the students will be able to show off their creativity and knowledge.
