Help Mrs. Quilatan

I am an ecstatic 2nd grade teacher in California with a motivated class consisting of 20 enthused learners! Our school is located in an area of high crime and poverty. 78% of students attending our school are students of poverty. More than 50% of my class are English Language Learners. As an educator, it is important to me to provide students with various modalities of learning-keeping each learning experience fun and engaging. Through a variety of learning experiences, active engagement, the potential of becoming successful learners will increase. Your contributions will provide my students to learn in new and exciting ways that will keep them motivated and engaged!

Our school is a Title I school, extremely limited in supplies and funds. In order for my students to have meaningful learning experiences, I have personally funded my own learning centers/activities for reading and math. With current and future budget cuts, it will be difficult for me as the ecstatic educator that I am to continue to provide various modalities of learning. Students involved in hands on learning stay engaged and become successful learners.

My students need Hot Dots Reading Comprehension Quiz Cards - Complete Set. My students will be able to build comprehension skills—and get immediate reinforcement using these high-interest reading passages, plus skill-building follow-up questions. My students need Hot Dots Elementary Math Quiz Cards - Complete Set. My students will be able to build math skills—and get instant reinforcement—with these fun-to-use quiz cards! Kids just touch an answer with the special Hot Dots pen…and fun sound effects tell them whether they’re right or wrong. Activities such as these keeps them engaged and excited about learning! My students need Hot Dots Power Pens to utilize the reading comprehension and math hot dot sets. Learning with Hot Dots is also great for test prep!

My students enjoy fun and engaging learning activities such as these. They are enriching and will build skills they need to be successful learners!
