My Students

My students require a much more individualized and specialized way of learning. They learn through hands-on materials and visuals. They need access to materials that keep all of their materials organized. When provided with this type of learning environment, my students can learn and excel!

Autism is an extremely challenging disability that affects every aspect of my students' lives. My classroom is made up of eight young people with autism. We are located in a low-income school where I need to buy most, if not all, of my own supplies.

My Project

This easel will be utilized during small group direct instruction within the classroom! It will allow me to roll it around if needed or work directly at our half moon table!

I will be using this easel for direct instruction to a wonderful group of students where I can model handwriting, use it for larger books, use sentence strips and provide a place where my students can learn visutally!

This easel will also aid in small groups during social skills, group during OT and Speech as well as allowing a more interactive hand hands-on approach learning for students.
