My Project

I teach 2nd grade to 15 wonderful students at an urban, Title 1 school in Richmond, VA, where students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. My class is a diverse group of learners and they are all eager to learn more and explore different possibilities in all subject areas. My students may not be as fortunate as others from different parts of Richmond. We are a student centered community and I strive to give my students everything in a positive learning environment to fit their needs for learning.

With a heavy emphasis on technology in schools, it is imperative that I, as a teacher, have a working, efficient computer that I can create lesson plans, slides, share videos, and print needed materials for daily learning.

Having a computer I can use to print and plan from will allow me to create even more engaging lessons. Although the school has provided me with a computer, it is not compatible with my printer. Additionally, because it is a school device, I am unable to install new software which is making my lesson planning inefficient. With this new device, I will be able to resume creating independent station activities that will really support my students' learning experience! I thank you in advance for your support!
