My Students

I teach in Richmond, Virginia at a Title I school. My students love to learn and are always excited to see what we will be doing next. I want to ensure that my students have a myriad of books to read, interactive, and engaging activities, and for my students to be comfortable and feel at home in their classroom, even though it will be virtual this year.

Please help my intuitive, creative, fun-loving young leaders, who have a love for learning, to be prepared for this virtual school year with supplies and items needed for both the students and myself to ensure we have a successful school year.

My Project

The first days of school and the school year are going to be virtual this year, but I still want to provide my students with everything they need to be successful. These supplies will not only help the students learn from home but will also enhance our "virtual classroom environment".

The items requested will help me to create and provide a "success basket" for each student in order to help learn virtually anywhere.

These materials will help students stay engaged during virtual lessons as well as giving the students an opportunity to practice independently.

We will use the primary journals for formal writing and illustrations, our journals will be to encourage my students to free write and write for enjoyment. The binders will be used to create a tracing binder for students' practice names, letters, numbers, etc.

The webcam and light will ensure my students can see not only myself but the materials as well.
