My Students

I have 15, three year old students in my class. We have seven girls and eight boys. We are an at-risk program located in Richmond. Many students come from low-income families and may have challenges to face at home; however, they come to school ready to learn!

Our students are curious, excited, and hard working!

They all learn in different ways, so we are constantly thinking of new strategies to teach them and get them ready for Kindergarten!

My Project

These toys will be used in our Center and Small Group times during the day. The cardboard blocks will allow our students to create buildings and structures that are more conducive to their age. We will use the chalk for outdoor learning. We love to draw and write letters!

The items chosen will promote fine motor skills which in turn build the muscles in our students hands!

They need these muscles to be able to write and draw well. We greatly appreciate any help you are able to give us!
