Learning Tools for Education Needs

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Calulators will be used to aid students in the processing of completing their problems; for example a student is given an equation, but they need to figure out the sum of mulitiplication of numbers within the equation to complete the equation. Use of the calculator for that part will simplify figuring out the problem so they can focus on where to put parts of the equation to solve for the answer.

Many of the students with disabilities are trying to understand every direction and instruction given when figuring out a solution to their problems; having the calculator to aid with basic skills will help take some of the major focus off of that part of processing to allow for more focus on the bigger picture of solving the equation, parts of the equation and developing the answer with less stress.
