This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The boys and girls are a great bunch of little scholars. Most are economically disadvantaged and lack many of the basics at home and at school. The children went through a lot due to the closing of schools. They are all trying to figure out how to deal with it all and learn in a safe place.

The children are a great bunch of kids that want to feel safe and secure, and at the same time want to learn.

The little scholars are eager to learn and strive for excellence. They may be facing all sorts of challenges due to the coronavirus, but that does not keep them from having high expectations when it comes to their education.

My Project

The boys and girls will need individual use supplies such as pencils, pencil pouches, and dry erase markers to use daily. They will be used to complete reading and handwriting activities.

In previous years writing supplies could be shared with classmates but this school year things will be a little different.

To stay safe and healthy, students will need to maintain social distancing and avoid using each others supplies. These writing instruments and pouches will allow the children to keep their own supplies separate.

The face masks are greatly needed to keep germs from spreading too far.

Most children will have some type of face covering, but should one forget or a mask becomes unusable then there will be a few masks just in case it's needed.
