Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a high school health science teacher in Nevada. The school site I work for is a Title I school with a high poverty rate, many of whom are English language learners and 100% receive free lunch. My school's Career and Technical Education program engages and expands students' knowledge in medical and healthcare related careers.

Students will benefit from your donation by receiving STEM based laboratory equipment to optimize their hands-on learning experience.

The dissection kit will allow them to learn how to treat, diagnose and prevent human diseases. The snacks allows them to receive rewards during lessons for optimum engagement.
