Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Multi sensory reading instruction plays an important part in my students learning. They are auditory and visual learners and read along and audio books would help boost their reading and comprehension.

I teach 6 wonderful students with autism in a high need school.

They are 5 years old. My students have delays in speech and language development. They enjoy listening to the books and especially books on Cd's or Read Along Books. Recently they hey began to learn how to read.

My Project

Having a new CD player and books on CD and Read Along Books would allow my students to choose the stories they want to listen to. It would also allow them to hear stories read to them by different voices and read along. I also believe that listening to the books on CD and Read Along Books will help my students to learn how to read and become book lovers.

With your help my students will have opportunity to develop their reading skills and enjoy one of their favorite school activities, listening to books on Cd's and Read Along Books.
