This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach middle school reading intervention. The population I work with has faced much adversity in their young lives. Many students have come from other countries with their families in search of a better life. My students come to school with no supplies, lack of English language skills, hungry, tired, emotionally neglected, and the odds stacked against them. These same students also arrive daily, eager to learn and work hard every day. Please consider donating to give the students the basic supplies they lack. It takes a village! Thank you.
