My Project

My students are growing in their skills and confidence as readers. I want them to connect with the idea that learning to read gives them more access and opportunity to learn about all kinds of things in the world. I've chosen books that will expose students to new concepts in math and science, and inspiring historical figures. I've also picked out some wonderful social skills books that help kids work through some of the biggest challenges they face in themselves and with developing relationships.

I want to continue to build my students' self-esteem and give them the skills they need to have bright futures!
