My Students

In my class, we have a mix of 5 year old learners who are trying to gain their educational experience from the safety of their homes. Our children are driven, enthusiastic, and ready to engage and learn, especially being their first opportunity with a kindergarten class.

My sweet students are eager to learn and grow but are limited in how much they can achieve.

Unable to have live interaction and being fully remote is preventing them from truly engaging in the lesson, developing their fine motor skills and developing themselves as a whole. With supplies, books and materials at home, they can bring the learning experience that they are missing out on, right to their fingertips.

My Project

My students are fully remote and will benefit tremendously with some materials, visuals and tangible items at home. The lack of learning tools is limiting my students from developing their basic skills. Having more books in their hands will allow them to jump into reading by enjoying the pictures and engaging with the story.

Working with math grids will boost their counting skills.

Having a phonics journal will be a great way for students to develop their letter sound and write down ideas. Remote life is challenging for children who are in their first year of their schooling career, but having some materials at home will help cultivate their learning and make them just as successful.
