Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is the first year since Covid hit that our school has offered an Art Class. Most of my middle school students have not ever had an art class and are learning to express their creativity in new and exciting ways. This project is aimed at providing the materials to allow students to interact with paint in a more conducive manner than can be achieved with paper on a flat surface. I hope to provide them with canvas, an easel, and the proper brushes to learn and explore different painting techniques.
