Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the tablets, printer, poster boards, and Sharpies, students will bring research, writing, art, design and their own valuable experiences together to share with others. Students will research and discuss the concept of cooperation, and share their findings with the school community. They will include a variety of the aspects that make cooperation work such as kindness, teamwork, and perseverance. Students will use their tablets to design stories involving cooperation using Scratch Jr. They will then make those stories come to life by printing them and adding them to their poster boards where they will add slogans and catch phrases using art supplies such as Sharpies. During this time, students will become Graphic Designers, Programmers/Coders, Authors/Writers, Illustrators, Researchers, and Engineers.

We cannot wait to see our students let their imaginations run wild!
