My Students

We do not know what this school year will bring but one thing I know is that I will support my students however I can! With everything that has gone on this year, I want to give my students the BEST year ever! The students will be a mix of K, 1st, and 2nd graders with different learning abilities. Some students are returning to a new way of learning with safety protocols in place, such as wearing a mask and social distancing. They will have to adjust to our new normal in the classroom. Others will be coming to school for the 1st time. Some will start their 1st day of kindergarten at home, meeting me and their classmates remotely. These tools will support all my students whether it is in the classroom or remotely!

My students will be experiencing school in a new way, and I hope to have the tools needed to support all of them.

They will help to make this school year a fun and successful experience for all of us!

My Project

Our students, parents, and teachers have been through a trying few months. We are going back to school with new challenges. The products I have chosen will directly benefit my students. The journals can be used in school or at home to help the students express their feelings and focus on their social-emotional growth. I hope to use the individual floor cushions during Morning Meeting while practicing social distance. Instead of sitting on a rug, they can be placed 6 feet apart but still have a sense of being together. All these items will benefit and support my students as we navigate through this new way of learning and teaching!
