Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In our ICT classroom, we would love to offer our students a warm, fun learning educational library. Our school has limited supplies and a growing ENL student population. Our future students require small group instruction and multiple learning strategies because they are diverse learners. Our students are from a low-income/high poverty school district. They have diverse learning needs and styles. Our students need interactive systems where they are learning through play. Students have different disabilities and this will allow to meet their needs.

My Project

I have a great ELL ICT student population. The majority of our students struggle to read and decode. Allowing them to find new interactive ways will not only engage their learning but give them the opportunity to expand their learning. Students have leveled books but need the support of interactive play. Through this Osmo students will continue learning and have fun at the same time. Students who are struggling with basic decoding skills, can use the Osmo to practice sounds and words. During choice time, students can have educational learning and fun! Please help our class have another tool of learning.
