Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of fun loving kids who want to learn! Many of my students are English Language Learners and have limited exposure to English at home, so as their teacher it is my responsibility to expose them to as much as possible. My school has limited resources and we work hard to provide as much for our students as possible.

This is what my school is all about. We try to give our students all of the knowledge we can, however we can, so that they are able to continue and grow into amazing young people who will change the world.

My Project

The iPad Pro will help my students enrich their learning by allowing them to do research on topics that they are studying. It will allow them to bring their learning to life because it will allow them to see videos on topics that they are studying, Skype with educators from around the world, and take virtual tours of museums and historic places from around the world.

This technology will allow my students to learn more and enhance what they are learning in class. Not all students learn the same way and by giving them this technology they will be able to learn in 3-D. They will be able to explore new things that they may never be able to see, they can read books that they normally would not have access too, they will be able to create presentations that they do not usually have the ability to do. Technology does not replace good teaching but with this technology I will be able to enrich my students' learning.
