Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A farmers market is an excellent addition to my classroom as it can provide numerous benefits for student learning. For one, it can promote imaginative play, allowing students to role-play and engage in pretend scenarios that foster creativity and develop problem-solving skills. It can also encourage socialization and collaboration as students work together to buy and sell food.

The cubby shelf and baskets will hold a variety of plastic foods along with two cash registers.

The table and chairs will provide opportunities for language development as they sit and engage in conversation and learn new vocabulary related to cooking and food.

Overall, incorporating a farmers market into the classroom can be a fun and engaging way to enhance students' learning experiences and promote holistic development.
