My Project

The goal of this project is to give these kindergarten students the materials they need to build relationships. They will use them daily to grow their minds and their ability to work with others. I am very excited to move to Kindergarten teaching the same students all day. This is a new program that is being piloted, and due to that they don't have all the necessary funding or materials for the new classrooms. I teach students from very diverse backgrounds at our Title I school. Letting them come to school all day instead of half day is a game changer for many of these families. They will be given the tools they need to succeed at school and be prepared for the rest of Elementary School.

Due to the fact that this program is being piloted I don't have the materials I need.

These things will help them build social skills as well as problem-solving skills. While using these materials they will be able to grow socially and their problem-solving skills will also increase. These materials will be used daily while they work in small groups. All materials will be taken care of and stored so they are well taken care of. This project will benefit every student in my class and it will support everything that we teach in Kindergarten. I will be using the bins to store all the materials and provide organization for easy use in the classroom. In the bins, I will put the blocks, trains, and other toys.
