Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I wholeheartedly believe that children learn best through play and exploration. The materials and supplies that I am requesting will help to enhance that. The use of manipulatives in our kindergarten classroom is a daily thing. Our manipulatives allow the students to learn through building, counting, matching, sorting, and best of all, through playing.

Play is a developmentally appropriate and exciting way for kindergarten students to learn to read, do math, and work with others.

These centers will support social, emotional learning, academics, and basic skills that they will need to be successful in school. Being able to have autonomy and choice as they play and learn will help them to learn everything in a meaningful way that they will remember.
