Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This will be the first time that our students will be coming to school in-person. They were distance learning ALL of last year, as kindergarten students. I want to make this the most positive, creative, and welcoming experience for them.

Our students have beautiful ideas, boundless energy, curiosity and a love of learning.

We want to make sure to create opportunities for creativity and enrichment for all of our students.

My Project

I would like my classroom to be filled with supplies and resources that would create a classroom environment that will support play centers that surround students' interests.

My goal is to create beautiful and interactive stations were students can learn through play and exploration.

Play based learning promotes academic, social, and emotional growth for students. As an educator, I feel that is is so important to think of the whole child and to cater instruction to the students' immediate needs. Learning through inquiry and play will provide a welcoming and engaging environment.
