My Students

Pre-K is an exhilarating and fun age for students. My students are learning about letter-sound relationships, numbers, shapes, colors, and how to hold a pencil. They are always willing to learn and ask many questions. They love using hands-on learning, where they can make a connection in their growing minds.

I love going to school each day to watch their resilient minds grow.

In my classroom, we work together and cheer each other along. They are constantly teaching me with how fast they learn, and the types of relationships they build with each other.

My Project

Pre-K is such a fun time for children. For most, they are going to school for the first time; and everything is new, exciting, and scary all at the same time. That is why I would like to provide my students with learning materials that they can enjoy playing with throughout their first year of school. The Community Helpers People, will help students to use their imagination while learning about important roles community helpers play in our society. The building resources will help with their development of fine motor skills, while also exploring their creativity.

Students need more exposure to materials that allow them to learn through play.

Pre-K students amaze me every day. They have the ability to absorb information so quickly. Part of this is by reinforcing what has been taught through play centers. Students are also able to use play resources to explore their own learning by themselves. Materials in this project will definitely aide in helping students with their development.
