My Project

I teach a preschool special education class for ages 3-5. My kids need developmentally appropriate hands-on materials to supplement our Small Group activities.

Our kids have developmental levels that span from 12 months to 5 years.

We need a variety of materials that can bridge that large gap. We need the Squigz toys to build with as well as develop our motor skills. They're big enough that our students that are just starting out, can be successful. Our students with more advanced skills can make sophisticated buildings and put them together in unique ways.

We need stacking, counting, and color matching toys to start learning how to work independently for short amounts of time. When working with the adults, we can build vocabulary and social skills.

We've asked for a variety of hand-on manipulatives that meet the needs our our diverse set of learners.
