My Students

My students are predominantly low socioeconomically but thrive on engaging themselves in learning. Every morning when they come in, they are eager to see the objectives and what we will be covering in each subject for the day. Even though most, if not all, of them are on free or reduced price lunch plan, they are very friendly and welcoming with great social skills among their peers. My school is full of passionate teachers, teaching the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People to our students to help them become leaders every day. Through their leadership, we can have a better tomorrow!

My Project

These materials will be used for a variety of things in my classroom workstations and learning centers. Working with my little bittys, fine motor activities are crucial in helping develop those not so easy to use finger muscles. The nuts and bolts activities and painting will help greatly with these skills.

The majority of the items I'm requesting will help students transform themselves into Veterinarians, Handy Workers, Cashiers, Doctors, Chefs and even Baristas!

Our dramatic play area is where students interact with one another in play and pretend to be in everyday life. It's a favorite among the students in my classroom as they love to experience different careers and hobbies.
