Second graders LOVE to learn about the world around them, and there's no better way in the classroom than through beautifully illustrated, well-written, age-appropriate picture books. Each month my class learns about groups and cultures through stories.
This spring we realized we didn't have enough books for Asian American and Pacific Islander Month or Pride!
These books will go in a special classroom display in the room. Students can select them for teacher read-alouds or to look through on their own. Discussions, questions and learning about the world only grow and deepen from there.
