My Students

If children are our future, I am satisfied to know that this class of students will make this world a better place. They have already started to change the school climate with positive attitudes and generosity of spirit.

My students are creative, hard working, and love working together.

They are always willing to try new things and believe in the Power of Yet. They have a Growth Mindset and know that if they don't understand a concept, they will get it through hard work and perserverance.

Through Donors Choose, I hope to foster their creativity and boost their comprehension, helping them to gain the skills to be successful in not only the next grade, but in their lifelong goals.

My Project

I would like to take the music lessons I am currently taking on the ukulele and teach my students what I have learned. Through these instruments, students will be actively engaged in the lessons.

After learning the basics, we will create our own songs to help us comprehend a variety of subject matter: Math, Language Arts, History, Social Science...

Please help me bring music and creativity to the lives of my wonderful third graders. The ukulele is such a fun way to engage all students in learning and address a variety of student learning styles. Thank you for helping our dreams come true!
