Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach special ed m/m grades k-4th. My students all have their own strengths and needs, and that is what makes them so special. I can, however, count on my students to make me laugh and cheer up. My students love to tell stories and talk about their likes and family. They can always make me laugh when the day is tough.

Reading can be a struggle, but my students never give up.

These items that I am requesting are all hands-on. My students will be able to manipulate by moving tiles around and creating words. The picture cards will help my students get a visual of the word. My students love when learning looks like a game or when they get to use manipulatives. I know that with these resources, my students will be highly engaged in building CVC words. My goal for this project is to be able to help my students learn more CVC, CVCe, and CCVC words. I hope you can help make this goal come true.
