My Project

My school uses a play-based curriculum in grades 3K, 4K, and 5K, called Tools of the MInd. In 5K, a big part of our learning is through reading, writing about and dramatizing the chapters of the first twelve Magic Tree House books. My creative students do a great job making lots of backgrounds and props to go along with each story, but it is also fun to have some ready made props to use.

I am requesting an awesome pirate play tent and treasure box to use while acting out the PIrates Past Noon book along with chopsticks for Ninjas at Night, and royal robes to wear duing Knight at Dawn.

These items will make dramatizing so much more fun and meaningful for my students. We will use the passports to keep track of all of the places we will go and adventures we will have with Jack and Annie.
