Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students come from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Dramatic play experiences help students celebrate and learn about diversity. Adding books, food, and props, children can explore what it is like to live in another culture and learn about their own. The toys I have selected will help my students by giving them additional alternatives to make more effective learning throughout the dramatic play. The benefits of dramatic play include Learning conflict resolution and creativity. Students will get to explore self-empowerment, allowing kids the opportunity to make choices, act out their feelings, and find a new connection to themselves.

I have seen how dramatic play can positively impact students' learning and social skills.
