Eight fun, creative, playful preschool special education students enter the classroom every morning ready to learn through play.

Students love to play dress-up. However, our classroom does not have a set of dress up clothes. We borrow clothing from another classroom but would like our own set to stay in our classroom to use freely everyday.

Students in the class need 5 costumes for dress up and a cash register. By providing students with tangible dramatic play items you are reinforcing their literacy, math, and social skills.

Dramatic play is an important part of everyday primary curriculum. The dramatic play is central to children's healthy development during the preschool years. Students build literacy, math and social skills while deepening their understanding about the world they live in through these activities.
