My Students

My students are an eager bunch who come from diverse backgrounds. They come to school with a big smile on their faces and excited to learn something new every day!

However, we all got the news on Sunday, March 15th that schools were closed due to the covid-19 pandemic.

My students were devastated and deeply saddened.

My Project

My students left our classroom on Friday, March 13th thinking they would be back on the following Monday. However, on Sunday evening, we all learned the devastating news that schools were closed.

Not only were my students upset because they wouldn't get to see their friends and teacher again, they also left all of their school supplies in school!

School supplies are expensive to replace. Most of these families are in serious financial hardship and cannot afford to replace these school supplies. Please consider helping these families by helping them get the school supplies that they need!
