Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Assessment is a vital part of education. By providing my students with learning journals, they will be able to show me their understanding of content knowledge through creative means.

These art supplies will empower my students to create and learn through art.

Instead of focusing solely on essays and quizzes, students will be able to create artistic thinking maps, drawings, webs, and graphs to show me their understanding of the subject matter. Additionally, they will be able to decorate the front and back covers to represent themselves. The goal of this learning journal is for students to create visual and kinesthetic connections to the content, as well as having a beautifully handcrafted document of their learning for the rest of their lives.
