This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I really love that my Kindergarteners enjoy listening and viewing virtual Read-alouds. Also, I love that they really enjoy listening to me reading to them, the traditional way; as if we were in class for a whole group reading lesson. My class is an amazing group of kindergartners that love to predict and discuss what they have learned, from each text they had heard in our virtual setup. Also, they enjoy making anchor charts, writing, and drawing about the text that we have read in class. They would also discuss this with their classmates and enjoy doing so.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my class are for the new school year 2021-2020. The stuff that's been requested, will be used daily. As a kindergarten, it's never bad by having too many materials in class. For most of our lessons, we use crayons, pencils, glue sticks, paper, whiteboards, markers, and much other stuff to complete the daily work in school. Also, there are other materials asked for; for example, a reading sofa for the comfort of my students when they transition on their ELA working stations. I had added a teacher's desk and a file storage; so I don't need to occupy a table that can be used for our reading stations, or for small group lessons. All will be taken care of and I as a teacher will teach my students on how to use correctly each and every one of them.
