Learning the Keys to Music!

Help me give my students these easy to use keyboard pianos! These are a great introduction to piano!

My Students

My students are so full of life. They love to move, they love to sing and they love to create! From Kindergarten to 5th grade, I work to instill a love of music through whatever means possible. Some students may not particularly love to sing but they may love playing instruments. Others may not love either of those but will dance their heart out when a song comes on! My students are so creative and special.

My Project

The piano is the best place to start learning how to play an instrument for young musicians! With these keyboards, students will begin to learn the basics of playing the piano and prepare them for future musical endeavors!

Studies show that time spent at the keyboard improves mental health: people who make music experience less anxiety, loneliness, and depression.

Playing piano has also been shown to be a great source of stress relief, and provides ample opportunities to bolster self-esteem. It is also a widely used form of therapy for Attention Deficit Disorder.

I believe this new unit will be a great way to introduce students to a world of music that they never knew they could explore!
