My Students

My students are sweet, caring, and keep me laughing all day long.

I teach fourth and fifth students that have disabilities, but that does not stop them.

They tackle every project and task with perseverance and enthusiasm. My students may be the same age but they do not learn the same way. I have auditory, visual, and tactile learners. Each lesson has to be tailored to fit their needs in order to be successful. They do not let their disability stop them from learning!

My Project

Having these iPads in my classroom will help my students in many ways. First, it will give them access to the internet. My students are in 4th and 5th grade and are learning how to write essays. They will need to research new topics and interests. Having the iPads will help my students be able to look up their topics easily and independently since most of my students know how to use an iPad already.

Another reason how these iPads will make a difference in my classroom is by using various apps to help my students better their reading, writing, spelling, and math skills.

There are greats apps that can help students learn their multiplication facts. There are apps that can help them improve their reading such as Lexia. The list goes on and on.

Please help add technology to my classroom for my students with disabilities. I would love to incorporate technology into my lessons to make them more interested and fun for my students.
