This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a 4th and 5th grade 'remote' teacher, at an elementary school in the South Bronx, NY.

'Remote', meaning, I will be teaching from my classroom, to the children who are learning from home, online. Due to the pandemic, some families are keeping their children home, due to health reasons, and other factors. The school is a Title I school, due to poverty, which affects the community. Our school has a large population of special needs, and English Language Learners, in which visual,s are greatly needed to support their learning.

The children are beautiful, elementary-aged children, who are eager to learn! Please help me obtain the supplies I need to 'connect' with my students, as effectively as I can!

My Project

If I get funded, it will enable me to connect virtually with my students. These materials will enable me to teach my students who are at home.

The items I am requesting will enhance our visual, online learning/teaching.

The green screens, will enable various, virtual backgrounds, (to compliment the lesson, and/or add familiar images to the students. :-) These materials are intended to keep the children engaged with similar visuals that they would have in person. Your generous contributions will help many children stay engaged and learning, at home and online! Thank you in advance!
