Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my Title I class are very loving and quite funny. They enjoy being with each other and being in school. They are polite and eager to please by flashing their winning smiles, their loving hearts, and their brilliant brains. They are a wonderful group of students worth everything the world has to offer.

They are returning from distance learning and a turbulent year in school.

They are excited to learn and return to school, raring to learn. The students have been doing their very best with their limited resources. They come to classes without the proper school supplies and it not only becomes a hindrance to the learning process, but it also doesn't make them feel good.

My Project

The students are in need of a quiet learning environment where they can concentrate and focus. The furniture gliders will assist with eliminating sound for the students in the class, as well as those around our class. There are students who are more fidgety than others, the Chair Bands will allow them to discreetly meet their fidget needs without disturbing the rest of the class. Providing students with the needed learning supplies will alleviate their worries about having what they need to learn. They will have their notebooks, pens, highlighters at all times without worrying about where they will come from. Having the learning supplies they need to excel will propel them through this American History course.
