Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious toddlers who love to learn. They all have different learning needs but learn best through hands-on exploration of their environment. I want to provide my students with as many opportunities to learn new concepts that will help them in their academic schooling. This means that they need lots of exposure and opportunities for trial and error.

The materials in this project will help my students learn about cause and effect, light and how it reflects, and the properties of water, color and magnets.

The blocks (arches, hollow, and loose parts) will help my students learn about simple math concepts and critical thinking skills as they build and learn to balance the blocks. These materials will help teach them basic scientific concepts, enrich their play, and make learning fun.
