Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Kindergarten through 5th grade students LOVE learning a new language while being creative. They learn Spanish with Music and Art, giving them a chance to explore new interests. It also helps make their language learning experience much more memorable. Art is a perfect way to learn Spanish because it’s flexible. You can integrate Art in any topic or language focus desired. It is also useful to practice other language learning skills, such as listening. You may give directions in Spanish while students follow them. Also, integrate math by measuring and cutting, or learning shapes and colors. It can simply be used to explore a wide range of themes. With your support and kindness, these Art supplies will help with my goal of having my students from Kindergarten through 5th grade engage in my classroom while having fun and a productive Spanish speaking experience.
