Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I school in one of the counties known for a high percentage of lower SES families. My students are STEMM Magnet and they are very bright and inquisitive. We are a public magnet high school in an urban city. All my students dream on going to college. Many of my students plan on going into the field of science, engineering, medicine, and mathematics.

My students are determined learners who yearn for variety and excitement in their lessons and have limited opportunities and resources.

Our school lacks some of the resources needed to help my students participate in the global education community.

My Project

The PC speaker and ink for the printer will allow me to "recruit my students interest" I want to make learning "relevant , authentic and valuable"in my student's lives and at the same time to have fun learning. I plan to show my students culturally relevant materials such as different world music and documentaries that they can listen to, as well as, to present printable information in different formats to spark their imagination. having access to audio and printable work will allow me to promote learning in different and fun ways. I will be able to implement innovate ways to learn.
