Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students who do their work and follow the expectations day after day should be rewarded by going to the "Treasure Box." I am requesting your help to keep my students motivated in the classroom. Small rewards or prizes bring such excitement to the eyes of my hard working students.

My students deserve to be rewarded for working hard, and I would like to provide them with opportunities.

I'm requesting support with student incentives, such as dinosaur figurines, girl bracelets, wind-up toys, and other incentives used to foster positive behavior and learning motivation. Making good choices and being kind to one another is paramount in my classroom. This will help my students learn that they can earn the things they want by doing what they are supposed to do. The student will self-reflect and ask themselves, "Did I use my accountable talk stems, or did I do my best today?" This will create personal challenges for those who make mistakes to create change and foster new behaviors. The ultimate goal for the classroom is to follow classroom rules. The #1 rule is to do their best and show it. We will also use rewards to celebrate all the growth we have made socially and academically. Moreover, the baskets will be used to organize the prizes and make them accessible for my scholars.

This project is important because it would give my students something to look forward to when they are doing the right thing daily. This will highlight those who follow rules, being great citizens, and doing their best. Your generous donation will be treasured in our classroom every day!
