This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have been working on expanding my classroom game inventory and my manipulatives for my students to learn music and reading. The laminating pouches and cubes in this project will help me expand my options for centers that we can use.
Children love to play games and it is proven to be a great way to learn new skills.
As a music teacher, I have found that centers are a fun way for my students to practice musical skills and learn new concepts. They always ask for centers and enjoy the freedom of learning while playing games. I have a small group of students who come to me for help in reading. They love when we play games at the end of our sessions. They don't even mind learning their sight words while playing.
