My Project

Everyday I work with Kindergarten and First grade students who are having difficulties on their journey to reading. Some of these students are ESL students who need extra practice with sounds while learning a new language. Practicing everyday can get boring and it really helps to have different types of manipulatives to practice letter identification and letter sounds.

The manipulatives that I have chosen will enhance the reading journey of these young readers.

Every child needs a solid foundation so that their reading can develop along with their peers.
