Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are many ways to connect content, teaching, and learning through outdoor activities. What a better way to learn while children are having fun! Outdoor play helps children grow socially, helping them to develop healthy ways of forming friendships, responding to physical interaction, and using their imaginations to entertain each other.

The float and find alphabet/number bubbles will expand my student's vocabulary and language by asking questions and encouraging them to describe what they see.

They will learn number concepts, such as, counting, number identification, cardinality, one to one correspondence. The mold and play sensory sand will promote hands-on learning and tactile exploration! The hop-along balls will promote gross motor movements children make with their large muscles. The build bricks will encourage peer collaboration and imagination when building structures.

These materials will address all of our student's development and learning.
