My Project
I teach a full day, four-year-old public preschool program in a Title I school. We live in Ketchikan, Alaska - and it rains 300 days a year here. We spend a lot of our days indoors.
Four year olds need to move all day long!
Having fun, active ways to keep moving while we learn our alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors is a way to meet our goals and keep learning fun.
We have a good amount of table learning stations. I am looking for more large motor games - those things that get ALL of our bodies moving. Things like throwing alphabet and beanbags into a goal. Learning to recognize some letters that go with a picture - as in the "Let's Get Moving Activity Mats."
Help us learn our preschool skills - in the most healthy way possible!
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
