Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach kindergarten in a public school. It is a program in Spanish. Our community is very close, parents try to be the most involved in their children's learning and my students are always willing to learn in a second language.

My Project

In my class every morning after breakfast, each student practices writing words and sentences according to the letter of the day. Whiteboards will prevent us from overusing paper and photocopies. They will help us in our small group writing practice. They will come in handy in math projects and any project that needs writing or drawing is a multitude of learning uses that students will give and the plastic boxes will help us keep each child's materials organized and they will know where to find their work materials every day. .
