My Project

Summertime is here again but the new school year is around the corner. With a new school year brings new stressors for our students and their families. They have to worry about buying new clothes, new shoes, a new bookbag, eye glasses, and school supplies for each class.

One thing I do not want my students to worry about is school supplies for math class.

This project will be used to purchase pencils, highlighters, index cards, adhesives and more to display their learning in the classroom. The index cards will be used to hold students accountable by displaying their data and growth from midterms and benchmark exams on our classroom data wall. The pencils and highlighters will be used to annotate notes in class. The markers will be used to complete class projects. By providing each student the materials needed, we will be able to focus more on learning.
