My Project

I want to add supplies and snacks to my classroom because students get hungry during the day and it has affected their academic performance.

Teenagers are constantly growing.

They are often hungry most of the day because they missed breakfast or did not get enough to eat in the morning. Others play sports, are hungry after gym class, or have medical issues requiring an extra snack for the day. Another need is during afternoon exam prep and tutoring. In my experience, I see how hunger affects focus, performance, and endurance in the classroom. These added snacks will add to support needed.

Ms. Blake Women's Academy of Excellence Grades 9-12

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
