Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher in a low income/ hi poverty school. Many of my students come from troubled homes. Many of their parents do not have the means to offer them the technology they need to get them ready. I want to be able to offer them experiences and opportunities that they otherwise would not get at home. My students are great and very enthusiastic learners. I want to keep the fire burning for them. With your support, this will be possible. Thank you!

My Project

Technology is very important in the classroom. I teach in a high poverty school. Many of my students do not get exposure to technology. I plan to use these iPads as a learning tool for many of my underperforming students.

I plan to install STMath, Prodigy Math and ELA learning apps in order to help my students, especially my lower performing students.

I also will use it to enrich my lessons by showing them learning videos and apps such as BrainPop and Kahoot! in order to enrich their learning experience.

With your help, I will be able to get more technology into the hands of children that do not have the advantages of most students.
